Dudley Port

Dudley Port is a rather small station on the Rugby-Birmingham-Stafford line west of Birmingham New Street. I went there once for a job interview with nPower (I didn't get it), but the station endeared itself to me somewhat, simply by it being the destination first trip I made on a pantographed train (at least that I realised, though actually a previous trip from Milton Keynes to Birmingham probably takes the prize, just I wasn't trainspotting then), and I liked the fact that there were announcements saying to stand away from the edge as a fast train approached, though these now seem standard. The facilities are basic at best, and most trains go past too fast to catch, but still it's somewhere I wouldn't mind revisiting.
