Blackfriars is a
central London station that sits right on the Thames, and by the end of the
Thameslink project will extend across the whole river. The one time I was
there, the bay platforms had already been closed (I didn't even see where
they might have been) and, clad in safety fencing, it wasn't a very pretty
sight, so I didn't really linger.
