AIV-H1 |
Anti-Infantry Vehicle (Hover) |
|
The AIV-H1 is your basic,
flying anti-infantry vehicle. Unfortunately, infantry don't exist on Neveron, so
its use tends to be charging in, dealing a few points of damage, and dying
quickly. An AIV-H1 costs around $800,000. |

AIV-H2 |
Anti-Infantry Vehicle (Hover) |

The AIV-H2 is an upgrade
to the more basic AIV-H1, adding in a small laser at the
expense of ammo. This gives the H2 more power, since it's unlikely to survive to
use its ammo anyway. An AIV-H2 costs around $1,500,000. |

AIV-H3 |
Anti-Infantry Vehicle (Hover) |

Another upgrade to the
AIV-H1, and frankly the best AIV available. A medium laser
gives it good power and a decent range, and the hover chassis ensures it can
outpace almost every other vehicle. The downside is that it's expensive - every
AIV-H3 costs around $3,500,000. |

BEH-44F |
Behemoth Assault Tank (Flamer Variant) |
|
The BEH-44F, an upgrade
to the 44V, well lives up to its name of Behemoth,
mounting more weapons than any other unit on Neveron. Slabs of armour, and a
weapon for every range make this unit devastating in combat - but not for long.
Only 10 round of ammo for its primary weapons is a severe problem, as is the 12
rounds for the LRMs. It's also very slow at 2/3 move. On the upside, no mech
will ever want to get close with the larger number of flamethrowers. Each unit
costs around $50,000,000. |

The BEH-44V is one of the
most devastating vehicles on Neveron, but suffers from a chronic lack of ammo -
enough for only 10 rounds of firing its twin AC-10s. It's also very slow at only
2/3 movement. Each one costs around $30,000,000. |

BEH-IDF |
Behemoth Assault Tank |
|
The BEH-IDF, an upgrade
to the 44V, is another veritable slab of armour. Replacing the twin AC-10s with
a single IDF-10 gives slightly greater range, but more importantly, the ability
to fire from behind cover. The fact that it has sensors allow it to use this
ability to its full. The BEH is still hopelessly slow though, and expensive at
$35,000,000. |

BLD-G |
Bulldog Medium Tank |
|
The BLD-G is a curiously
overlooked vehicle, mainly because you can get a MAN-0 for
the same support point cost, and the MAN-0, albeit slower, has an LRM rack, the
lack of which leaves the BLD-G vulnerable to ranged fire. However, it has decent
armour, and good close-range critting power. Each one costs around $10,000,000. |

CCT-1A |
Cockatrice Wheeled Missile Tank |
|
The CCT-1A would be a
very popular vehicle but for one problem - it has wheels. It has thick armour,
good long range weapons and decent ammo, but its wheels give it a high support
point cost, making it cheaper to run an ONT-LRM, which is significantly more
powerful. The payback is that the Cockatrice is fairly cheap, coming in at
around $8,000,000. |

DST-13R |
Destrier Wheeled Assault Vehicle |
|
The DST-13R is the
heaviest wheeled vehicle on Neveron, and is fairly unpopular due to its low
ammo. However, it is quite powerful, and very well armoured. Each DST-13R costs
around $20,000,000. |

GAL-1 |
Galleon Light Tank |

The Galleon is a fairly
cheap way of getting ammoless weapons into an empire, even only a medium laser.
The backup weapons of Small Lasers don't go amiss either, although it's unlikely
the Galleon will survive long enough to make them worthwhile. Each GAL-1 costs
around $5,000,000. |

GOB-33E |
Goblin Medium Tank |
|
The GOB-33E is another
curiously overlooked vehicle, primarily passed over in favour of the MAN-0,
which mounts an LRM rack. That being said, the Goblin is a very good vehicle,
mounting a large laser for sustained fire, and enough armour to make it a tricky
kill. Each costs around $12,000,000. |

The Guardian GRD-1 is a very basic tank - it mounts an Long Range

is also rather too lightly armoured. They usually cost around
$2,000,000. |

problems with close-range fighting. Unfortunately you still have
to deal with the low armour. They usually cost around $2,500,000. |

HAR-P5 |
Harrier |
|
The Harrier HAR-P5 is
quite a strange vehicle, not least because it is one of only three units on Nev
to have an animated icon. It's also one of the few vehicles to mount mk II LRM
racks. That is it mounts a rather pathetic LRM5-II on a 9/14 chassis, allowing
it to whizz about the map madly but not really be able to do anything useful.
Each one costs around $5,000,000. |

HNT-00 |
Hunter Light Tank |
|
The HNT-00 is the
HNT-0A's big brother, removing some armour and ammo for a bigger engine and a
bigger gun. It still has the problem of being vulnerable to flanking though, but
with an extra problem in that it's quite expensive since it's harder to research
than most light mechs, and thus no one has, which also makes it incredibly rare.
Each one costs around $20,000,000. |

HNT-0A |
Hunter Light Tank |
|
The Hunter is one of the most useful and
common tanks on Neveron, used at all levels. It has good firepower and
its front armour means that it is hard to kill from the front.
It is vulnerable to flanking though, due to its lack of a turret, and
when the enemy get in close (at which point its LRM rack becomes
useless). They usually cost around $3,500,000. |

HRR-A |
Harasser Missile Platform |
|
The HRR-A is one of the
very fastest vehicles on Neveron, moving at a blistering 10/15. That, combined
with its twin SRM-6s, make it ideal for dashing in, giving a broadside, then
running like hell. It has to keep moving, because its armour is paper-thin. Cost
is around $7,500,000. |

HRR-B |
Harasser (LRM Variant) |
A slightly odd upgrade to the
HRR-A, the HRR-B switches the SRM racks for a single LRM-10
rack. This allows it to stay at range, where its armour isn't such a problem,
and the 36 ammo is plentiful. Combined with its movement, the HRR-B is nigh-on
impossible to hit. Each unit costs around $7,500,000. |

HRR-L |
Harasser Laser Variant |
|
Somewhat of a downgrade
to the HRR-A, the HRR-L replaces its SRMs with lasers. This
reduces the crit chances which was the -A's forte. It is also fairly pointless,
as at close range, the HRR-A was unlikely to survive the 15 rounds it would take
to unload its ammo. That being said, massed HRR-Ls are extremely deadly. Each
HRR-L costs around $10,000,000. |

slightly heavier jeep, weighing in at 7t, and has less armour and
move. It makes up for this by mounting an LRM-5, which makes it the
cheapest vehicle you can get with the longest range. That being said,
it is very fragile. They usually cost around $900,000. |

MAN-0 |

The MAN-0 is one of the
most popular vehicles on Neveron, mainly because it is not too expensive (in
both $ and SP), well armoured, is good at all ranges, and has a main weapon that
is not dependant on ammo. This makes it useful for all sorts of jobs, including
the main defence vehicles in many large zones. It is however slow at 3/5 move.

ONT-00 |
Ontos Assault Tank |
|
The ONT-00 is a tank you
do NOT want to meet down a dark alley - eight medium lasers will make anyone cry
in pain, and the LRMs allow it to do a small amount of damage from range (though
not as much as the ONT-LRM). It is fairly slow at 3/5,
but it is not designed to move much, more to sit back and shoot anything that
comes close, making it useful for point defence around LRM vehicles. It is
fairly expensive, around $30,000,000 apiece. |

ONT-LRM |
Ontos Assault Tank (LRM Variant) |
|
The ONT-LRM is an upgrade
to the ONT-00, replacing the MLs with two LRM-20s with
plenty of ammo. This makes them very popular in high level landwar, where a
battalion can sit back and waste anything which comes into view. They're not
cheap though, each one costs around $25,000,000. |

PAT-1 |
Patton Heavy Tank |

The Patton looks good,
but is very are due to its Fusion engine making it quite prohibitively expensive
to research. It does have wads of armour, as well as decent ammo, but lacks
purpose, and the pricetag is in excess of $40,000,000. |

PEG-X1 |
Pegasus Scout Hover Tank |

The PEG-X1 can be seen as
an upgraded JED-X, swapping armour for larger SRMs. It has annoyingly low ammo
though, but it is still good for getting close to enemies and critting them with
its SRMs. Unfortunately, it is fairly expensive at around $20,000,000. |

PIK-N |
Pike Support Vehicle |
|
Of all the long-range
vehicles on Neveron, the PIK-N is the most unsung hero. It has three turreted
AC-2s, giving it 24 range, and enough ammo for an incredible 75 rounds of fire.
It's also well armoured, and has SRMs if enemies get close. Each one costs under
$10,000,000. |

PKR-T1 |

The PKR-T1 is a basic
low-level wheeled vehicle, flawed only in that it is wheeled and has no turret.

costs around $1,500,000. |

PKR-T5 |
Packrat |
|
If the
PKR-T2 is the good upgrade of the PKR-T1, the PKR-T5
is the utterly unnecessary upgrade. The whole vehicle is faster due to the
inclusion of a fusion engine, and the SRMs are upgraded to a single SRM-6
launcher, but at the loss of a good sensor package. The fusion engine also
ensures the T5 is not as cheap, coming in at around $5,000,000. |

PLA-1A |
Plainsman Hover Tank |
|
The Plainsman is another
hovertank designed for close-range combat, with two SRM-6s and an SRM-2. The
SRM-2 has rather too much ammo to be frank, and some of that space could have
been better used adding armour, but it's still deadly in close, and costs around
$15,000,000. |

PRT-1B |
Partisan Heavy Tank (AC/2 Variant) |
|
The PRT-1B can be seen as
the PIK-N's big brother, sprouting two more AC-2s, but with
only enough ammo for half as long a fight. Coupled with the low armour of the
PRT-1A, it has uses, but not as many as it would like,
since it costs around twice as much as a Pike at $20,000,000. |

PRT-2A |
Partisan Heavy Tank |

The PRT-2A is an upgrade
to the PRT-1A, replacing the AC-5s with mkIIs, adding a targeting computer
(giving -1 on all base to-hits), and strangely adding a point of ECM.
Unfortunately it still has very low ammo, low armour and is expensive at
$25,000,000 - not worth it when you could have an ONT-LRM
instead. |

RIP-F01 |
Riposte |
|
The Riposte was the first
IDF vehicle to be introduced to Neveron, and it certainly is lacking compared to
later vehicles such as the SNP-1, although this is partly
due to weight. It has fairly low ammo, and the IDF-5 doesn't have great range,
nor does the Riposte have any sensors, and it is very slow. The fact that it has
no turret means that it needs to reposition itself frequently, making it more
difficult to hit enemies. A Riposte is fairly cheap though, at around
$3,000,000. |

SCH-0A |

The Schrek is one of the
most fearsome tanks on Neveron, mounting twin PPCs and a nice amount of armour.
While it's a bit slow, that really doesn't matter much as with a good gunner it
can pound anything that comes into range. It is pricy though, at around
$20,000,000. |

actually being used. Prices start at around $20,000,000. |

SCP-A1 |
Scorpion Light Tank |

The Scorpion is a
workhorse vehicle - not especially useful on its own, but in numbers,
they can be a headache. However, the fairly low ammo and low armour is
a problem, and means that the SCP-A1 is usually passed over and
replaced with LRM vehicles. It generally costs around $2,000,000. |

SCP-A2 |

venerable SCP-A1 replaces the AC-5 for an AC-2 and an
SRM-2, which while reducing power, adds extra range and a lot more ammo,
enabling the SCP-A2 to stay in the field longer. It still has low armour though,
which means few SCPs ever actually use their ammo supply. An SCP-A2 costs around
$2,500,000. |

The Sir John Monash is a
one-of-a-kind tank. It's so old it doesn't even have its own unit picture. It's

an AC-10. Unfortunately it is powered by a fusion engine, which means no one

SKL-1 |
Skulker |
|
The Skulker is an attempt
to recreate the success of the Savannah Master on a wheeled
platform. It has good armour for such a small vehicle, and in that respect it
works. Unfortunately the laser is still front mounted, and it's relatively
expensive at $5,000,000. |

SLD-1 |
Saladin Assault Hover Tank |
|
Popularly known as a "Savvie
on Steroids", the SLD-1 is one of the most feared vehicles on Neveron. An AC-20
on a hover vehicle is a ticket to fun if you're the pilot, hell if you're an
enemy mechwarrior - an AC-20 which can come in range and headcap you from
outside your range from the previous turn. Its only real disadvantages are the
low armour, lack of a turret and high SP cost. An SLD-1 typically costs around
$10,000,000. |

SNP-1 |
Sniper Mobile Artillery |
|
The Sniper is one
of Neveron's most common vehicles, due to its quite insane weapon
loadout. Two Indirect Fire Cannon 2s give it a range of 36 without requiring line of
sight, making it perfect for backup and critting vehicles. Its lack of
sensors mean that it has to be accompanied, usually by a mech. It is
also quite slow at 3/5 move. A sniper usually costs somewhere around
$15,000,000. |

STL-370 |
Stiletto Infantry Fighting Vehicle |
|
The Stiletto used to one
of the best vehicles to have in an arena, due to its speed and decent weaponry
(for a small tank). Nowadays, they're still a nice tank to have around, even
though they're not so suited for landwar. Each costs around $1,500,000. |

STR-00 |
Striker Light Tank |
|
The Striker is one of the
great all-round tanks of Neveron, with both LRMs and SRMs on a fast chassis. The
downside is insufficient LRM ammo. Of course, due to tanks like Hunters being
cheaper to maintain, the STR-00 has fallen somewhat out of favour, but it is
still an excellent tank at low levels, costing around $3,500,000. |

STR-01 |
Striker Light Tank (LRM Variant) |
|
The STR-01 is a logical
upgrade to the STR-00, removing the SRMs to add a larger
LRM rack with more ammo. This makes the STR-01 better at staying in the fight at
range, where its speed make sit a hard target to hit. Unfortunately it is bad at
close range. It is slightly cheaper than the STR-00, due to lower demand, at
around $3,000,000. |

$6,000,000. |

STRM-X |
Sturmfeuer Assault Tank |
|
Of all the vehicles on
Neveron, there is not one which is more of a pain to kill than the STRM-X. It
has more armour than god, and its weapons can hurt you while you close, even
though it has quite low ammo. It's one of the few vehicles designed to be able
to retreat and rearm. It does cost around $40,000,000 though, so most people
favour the ONT-LRM. |

The SWT-81D is the best
true AIV on Neveron, mounting four machine guns for the most effective infantry
killing. Unfortunately no infantry exist on Neveron, so its use is limited to
its range of 3. It can still be an annoyance - death by 1000 cuts - but of
little practical use. It costs around $1,500,000. |

longer. It costs around $20,000,000, making it a rival to the ONT-LRM |
